Identify the bottleneck, resolve it quickly. Every delivery manager is in a hurry. On one end the customer puts pressure, on the other side the product and infrastructure are not fully ready, but target date does not slip. Caught in this, the managers look for products that can magically solve their problems. They start chasing the tools. By the time they evaluate one, another tool comes in and the cycle continues.

It must be inclusive to tell about UI layer performance issues, business logic layer issues and the latency in the database. Here is the million dollar question? How many organizations do have performance experts to analyze? Imagine this situation. You have a leaky tap. Some one comes and tells that he has spanner, pipe wrench, grease, leather washer, nut, bolt etc. But that person just gives these items for you to fix or hire a person who can use these tools. Same applies to every SMB org. When someone is already in performance pain, do not give spanner and grease. That does not solve.
